UE4 WIP Demo - Archviz and scripted elevator
A little demo (WIP) featuring an architectural model i have created in Rhino 3D, processed in SideFX Houdini, and textured in Substance Painter, to generate art and collision assets. I have then created a node-based script for the elevator, and programmed it to automatically open each individual door at each floor, on contact. The elevator is operated using 0, 1, and 2 to reach each specific floor. Collision objects are poly-reduced versions of the visible assets, imported as invisible objects and placed as overlay on each corresponding visible geometry, to ensure collision accuracy while conserving CPU processing.
